  Get your BizServant going
Thank you for choosing BizServant for your advertising.

BizServant is a marketing tool that helps you make the most of your advertising potential. Instead of having to utilize numerous different methods of getting visitors to your online business, now you only need to set up this one tool. Furthermore there is a whole range of tools available on the Internet - most of which are free - that can help you, which we will talk about below.

As soon as you have referred a few new Bizservant members and the new members that you have introduced have in turn started promoting their BizServant pages, you are up and running. The whole program will run by itself and traffic to your page will increase from day to day.

The following free promotional options are roughly ordered according to how long they take to produce a return. You must take this into account if you decide to use any of these opportunities.

Email promotion (free)
You should always do this first, obviously not by spamming, but by using your personal contacts. Send everyone you know who uses the Internet in some way an email mentioning our services and briefly describing BizServant. Please only do this with people you are actually in contact with, so you are not accused of sending spam. That way you can be sure that anyone who replies to you has an actual interest in BizServant and will use our services.

You must of course include a link to your BizServant page so prospective members sign up with BizServant from your page – this is the only way you can benefit from new registrants’ future activities.

Your own web site (free)
If you have your own web site you can of course put a link to your BizServant page there. This is a good way to get results if your page handles a high volume of traffic and is well targeted. In our portal’s member area you can find a selection of banners and buttons designed for this purpose.

Discussion forums/ communities (free)
If you enter search terms such as ‘affiliate forum’, ‘network marketing discussion’, ‘advertisement affiliate’ or similar into a search engine, you will find a whole range of forums and communities that are essentially concerned with what affiliate and network marketing programs there are, what people think of them, what sorts of promotional opportunities these programs offer and which look promising.

Traffic is the ultimate goal here. All of these forums basically allow you to introduce yourself or the particular program that you represent. You can take part in discussions about advertising and much more. Every forum is organized differently and offers different options. You will come across people who are very interested in advertising. Mention BizServant there and make your link available, and you will get a very positive reaction. But please observe the rules of each of these forums.

Paid for start page (free)
Whenever you open your browser, the first page you see is your start page. You can set this yourself. In Internet Explorer, for example, just go to Extras, then Internet Options, and there you can click on the General tab to set your start page.

This is significant because you (can) get paid for it. There are a number of services that pay you a small amount for every time you open your start page. The reason it that such start pages serve as advertising platforms – you get paid for looking at what’s on offer. The payment you get can immediately be converted into ads. So even if you have to pay for an ad, you will have already received the money it has generated before the payment is due. Such start pages are a great way to advertise BizServant for free, since Internet profit and traffic are the core subjects. Again you can find a whole range of services by entering the search term ‘paid for start page’ into a search engine.

Start page exchange (free)
Unde Paid for start page we have already explained how to set a start page for your browser. To take part in a start page exchange, you have to register with one of the services you find when you enter the term ‘start page exchange’ into your search engine. You will receive a URL from the service you have chosen to use for start page exchange and need to set this as your browser's start page. Now, every time you open your browser, you will see a different web site provided by one of the start page exchange subscribers. In return they will also see your page when they open their browsers. It’s a very simple system that runs completely automatically once you have signed up.

Small ads (free)
The Internet is full of advertising market places, where you can place free ads to make your site and your offer more visible. Because the advertising wastage here is fairly high, you have to advertise in a lot of places to get a decent return. Again, you can find a number of services if you enter the search term ‘free small ads’ in your search engine.

Reciprocal emailing (free)
The principle of reciprocal emailing is very simple: you receive promotional emails from other people and you can send your own promotional email back, in relation to the quantity of emails you have read. Again you can find a whole range of services by entering the search term ‘reciprocal emailing’ into a search engine. The types of advertisement you receive via this method will vary, but they are usually about money-making or building traffic to help you reach your target audience.

Paidmail (free)
This is another program that lets you get paid for receiving promotional email. The difference between this and reciprocal emailing is that you do not have to send back your own promotional emails automatically. Instead you receive a payment for each email you read– partly in actual cash, partly in points that can be converted into dollars once a month. You can decide whether to use this to book your own paid email ad or take cash payment that you can use to promote BizServant. Something to watch out for is that there is usually a threshold for cash payments that can only be reached after some time, whereas converting this into an ad is usually much quicker. To get a fast result, you need to sign up with a number of such services. You can find numerous such services by entering the search term ‘paid email’ in a search engine.

Visitor exchange (free)
Visitor exchange follows the same basic principle we have already seen, whereby you look at other people’s ads and they look at yours. The difference is that this is not about ads: now you are going to visit other people's web sites, and they are coming to yours. If you enter the search term ‘visitor exchange’ into a search engine you will find numerous services you can and should use. You receive a bonus for signing up, mostly in the form of getting several hundred visitors to your page before you have to visit someone else’s page. Note that there are two different types – automatic visitor exchange programs, where the pages being promoted are displayed without interruption and are often opened up in a separate browser window running in the background without a page ever being looked at (pop-unders). And there are manual visitor exchange programs, where every web site visited must be confirmed by clicking or doing something on it. This is more expensive of course, but it also guarantees that the pages and their content are actually being noticed. Preferably you should sign up for manual reciprocal visitor programs.

Auctions (fee required)
Ebay has a special rubric where start page, paidmail and other services sell promotional opportunities such as 10,000 paidmails, 100,000 text links, 50,000 banner impressions etc. Costs are considerably lower than if you buy them straight from the services’ own web sites. You can find these offers on Ebay under the Computer link and Banner Advertising sublink. If you are prepared to spend a few dollars, you can find a wide range of suitable promotional tools you can use to give your BizServant page a kick-start.

This sublink is also very useful if you want a quick overview of the various promotional opportunities available and their costs.

Newsletters (fee required)
There are a huge number of newsletters offering you opportunities to place promotional ads. It is of course important to be sure that the target audience is susceptive to your offer. So you have to find out who each newsletter is being sent to. You can find appropriate opportunities by entering the search term ‘newsletter advertising’ in a search engine; there are also plenty of similar offers at good prices on Ebay in the Computer section, under the Banner Advertising sublink.
